Deadline 25th March 2024
Lost Art of a Little Earthling
Physical Exhibition Open-Call

Zoey Chang, 01/Mar/2024

‘Lost Art Of a Little Earthling’ is an exhibition characterised by vague and unfamiliar terms: earthy, primordial, dark and strange. Through elaborate tales of woe and wonder, we return to a lost and primitive world, where clods of dirt and pebbles are treasured, and residual dreams of youth float to surface. Our artists sketch a passing shadow, before it bobs off, into the dying sun, over the momentary horizon because, after all, did it ever happen?

☀️

Deadline for the open call is 25th March 2024. Free to Apply!

Theme
A forgotten space pregnant with opportunities, a place for self-reflection and introspection, a place to consider, “What is there here for me to do?”
In ancient China, It is believed that places retain memories. The chapel in St Margaret’s House is a place of worship, hosting holy memories that are closest to heart. As an art exhibition taking place in the chapel, we would like to honour memories of the space while expanding on it.

This is the mood you find us - here today. Why not share and dwell together in this moment, survived by our artworks. Tomorrow there will be another exhibition. And we will be changed, a different and unknown theme. More forgotten dreams and memories to be untangled, rest assured.
